Rest in Peace, our dear departed piggies:

Rumble Butt

Died approx. 21 February, 2003 in Tampa.

Male

Pedigree, Lemon Silver Agouti from the UK. The kindest character & the most amazing intelligence at training humans, especially Paul. There won’t ever be another Mr. RB. I cried for days/weeks/years and still love this guy. We had long conversations about his mummy while she was in China (behind her back) then we sent her emails…...and pictures. He kissed me on the nose a few hours before he started to fade away and I won’t ever forget you my RB. All my love from Paul. xxxxx

Sebita

Died approx. 21 March, 2003 in Tampa.

Female

Satin, grey & Black, with the nicest disposition and gorgeous looks. There won’t ever be another GP who is as fantastic looking and as affectionate as Sebita. She died of a broken heart missing her Mr. RB just 30 days after he left us. I felt the same way. No pictures will ever do her beauty any justice.

5-6y

Chocolate

Died approx. October, 2003 in Grenada.

Female

Brown

Abyssinian

Had an abcess in FL and then dental problems in Grenada. A quiet, peaceful piggy. Not a complainer. Ann hand fed her for 2-3 weeks, but without success. It broke my heart to see her try so hard.

3-4y

Striper

Died approx December, 2003 in Grenada.

Male

Black, brown striped Satin. On his own a sweetheart, with other males an A1 male and source of many fights. His very sudden passing to some sort of bite in the garden left us dazed. He went into shock and struggled to fight it off, but failed after about 12 hours.

3y

Marilyn

Died 9 January, 2004 in Grenada.

Female

Yellow

Agouti

Marilyn really was a sweetie. She would never sit still though. She was a daughter of RB and is close to me with Carla another daughter of RB. It took at least a dozen shots to get this picture of her. She was always trying to be the #1 female but looked after Nutmeg and taught her stuff when Blanche seemed a little disinterested. She seemed to die of diabetes or just old age, she just slowed down. Two weeks before, she provided the most fantastic exhibition for 2 days, running backwards & forwards all day while acting as Nurse Pig for Curly Q. Him chasing her, turning around and her chasing him. xxxxx

Brownie

Died 1 March, 2004 in Grenada

Female

Brown

Abyssinian

Brownie, Precious and Coffee all got terribly sick right before we went to the USA on a trip. Precious and Coffee suffered first from a terrible nervous system problem, but recovered. Unfortunately, Brownie very quickly succumbed to the same problem. We think it was contaminated food. She died about 5 hours before we had to leave for the airport. She was quiet and a very lucky rescue piggy. It was terrible to see her shaking all over. We can only hope she didn’t suffer pain in her last hours.

3y

Sophia

Died 14 July, 2004 in Tampa. Had been losing weight and suddenly disappeared.

Female

Brown/White

Satin

A rescue pig from Ohio. Very shy and a good nurse pig. Very small because of an early pregnancy.

Died while I was in the UK helping my Dad after the sudden death of my Mum.

3y

Coffee

Died 2 December, 2004 in Tampa of old age

Female

Brown

Abyssinian

Very gentle and personable piggy. In her last weeks she would come and call us for food each morning. Pretty active to the end. Died the day that my Dad came to the USA after Mum’s death.

3-4y

Nutmeg

Died 13 December, 2005 in Tampa

Female

Dutch

Our first baby girl, born in Grenada.

Attacked and killed very suddenly by a hawk in the back garden in Tampa. The first live birth Paul had seen – “my baby”. You were a sweetheart baby and mother. Bless you xxxxx

2.5y

Blanche

Died 6 March 2006 in Tampa

Female

Died after a hysterectomy to remove a huge single baby.

Pure White.

Blanche was the most incredible GP in 20 years of Ann’s GPs. She would purr for 15s at a time. She was totally in love with Paul and would kiss and lick and clean him. There are no words to express our bonding. I will miss you forever my dearest Blanche, who purred and heaped love on Paul until the end.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX  many tears and also happy memories which should have been longer.

3.5y

Moccachina

Died 27 May 2006 in Tampa

Female

Died of old age.

Mixed Abyssinian.

Suddenly faded away. Mocci was a very quiet type who would follow the herd. She was never any trouble and nothing was too much trouble for her. We'll miss you Mocci.

5-6y

Satin

Died 7 September 2006 in Tampa

Male

Died of old age.

Black Satin.

Suddenly faded away. Satin was also a very quiet type who would follow the herd. He provided great company for Stacey. He had a cataract for about 3 years, but he managed to get around very well.

7-8y

Stacey

Died 7 December 2006 in Tampa

Male

Died of old age.

Mix.

Stacey faded away over a long period of time. He was the father of our first litter of kids.

After an abcess, 2.5 years were spent with a tooth which grew through his lower jaw. Ann looked after him every 2 weeks clipping it. Thank you for the memories Mr. Stacey.

5-6y

Rascal

Rascal

Died 5 February 2007 in Tampa

Female

Died of old age.

Mix.
Rascal was an adoptee. She was one of the "gang of four" at one stage, but never the Alpha. She was always well until she suddenly had a stroke or other problem, then left us very quickly. Thank you for being a kind piggy.

Spice

Died 11 April 2008 in Tampa

Male

Died of a fall.

Unfortunately he was paraysed right away.

Mix.
Spice (Mr. Spice Man) was born of Stacey and Blanche. He was a very active gp and was always a good human friend, but would go wild for the girls and tear any male apart. Well travelled, he always was robust until the end.

Mix.
Curly Q was a rescue. He was a very good human friend. Very well travelled, he always had mouth problems and a watery eye but survived with lots of TLC from Ann.
